What's the first thing you do after waking up?

What is the very first thing you do after more than half way waking up?
You know, passed that opening eyes, some procrastination +/- snoozing alarm stage, and finishing the dream and all that?

I used to just think about what is or are needed to be done for the day, or just be anxious or worrying about something if there is some big thing for the day.  :D

But I have changed my mindset to stay healthy after waking up and the first thing is to thank the Lord for letting me see another sunrise, another day, and hopefully another sunset too!  O:-)
(I am sure this can be done so even if your belief and faith are not towards a religion and/or the same faith - nature, universe, etc)

past few days, maybe because I received good news after 2.5-3 years of trying, but I tried to wake up early and accomplish things around my usual 5-6 AM but just woke up, "umm, might as well say thank you for a new day" and went back to sleep. Sometimes I said thanks x2-x3 before the "actual awakening" :lmao:

My husband started his new job yesterday and now has to be up and out of the house by 6ish I get the kids up at 7 and out the door for school and I have to be at work at 9. I tell my self that Im going to get up with husband and make coffee and get ready for the day. Like do my make up as now I dont have to wear my mask at work so make up is needed to not be scary. But so far I have not gotten up with him so I tried to stay up after kids left for school.. Still no luck but its only day to so here is to maybe tomorrow lol

Could be this week thing and the weather. We got our blame on! :handshake: Waking up early and then synchronizing with someone else when it's new, takes time to get adapted or used to! At least one successful matching day needed! You got this! The week is young! The month is younger. The year, still young!  :ok:

Even though there is not age limit in WA for how old they have to be witch I think is stupid, but the responsible adult thing would not not leave them home lol

I have a coworker who said she's just gonna sleep early these days to adapt to the daylight savings that gone on, and I felt that.

Getting used to or managing a new schedule is not an easy task for sure!

Child care is getting expensive too and I am not sure, but these days, during the pandemic, the prices for childcare has surged up to x2 or x3, the same with tutoring (and those were coming from few I know who were too settled too!). It's crazy!

And at the same time, I would not want a child care for my kids either and would like to take care of my own or by the family! Oh, how I missed back in the days with my extended family members back home in the birth country, REST IN PEACE to few! Always good to be a responsible adult!

Plus, it's a little crazy with what I heard in the news too. You, as a parent, can get sued during this "sue happy, sue for anything" era, even if you have left your child with an older child too! Understandable to a degree, but that was not the way in most family members or back then! (in most family who has to be growing old or getting through together! )
